“After
years of thinking about LASIK I decided I was ready to see if I could have it.
I called many different doctor’s offices, as I make no decision without
thinking and over-thinking it.
The
same name kept coming up with 5 star reviews, Dr. Confino. I finally mustered
the courage to make an appointment. I had to stay out of my contact lenses for several
days before, which was really hard, but that is what I was told I needed to do
so that they can get accurate test results. I also made appointments for other
consults so I could compare offices and doctors.
The
consultation with Dr. Confino was very long but also very informative and at
the end I felt they were extremely thorough and addressed all of my concerns.
Compared to the other practices I visited where they did some quick tests then
within 30 minutes told me I could have LASIK and wanted to book me before I
left the building. When I went to see Dr. Confino’s office, it was like a whole
different exam. When they told me I could have LASIK I knew, he had looked and
explained everything and he is the doc I wanted to do my treatment. I had my
LASIK treatment a few weeks later and the next day they measured my eyes I was
seeing 20/15. They told me it was going to continue to get better. I am
